Preschools

 This is my main job here in Malawi, to work with preschools. I`m going there four times per week and I have six preschools (maybe I`ll add one more if I will manage to establish new one). More/less it`s about monitoring to check everything that is works how is supposes.
But each and every time when I`m there I try to bring something new, for instance: games, activities, songs and so on.
You know is not difficult work at all, if you don`t care too much. But if you wanna do something, yeah   it`s quite challenging. Mainly because of work with small kids which don`t speak English as well as work work with supervisor.

On the pictures below you can see how preschool looks like. On first picture is latrine with hole inside there they do they stuff. Next to latrine is tippy tap (that plastic battle) where is water for washing hands. But it doesn`t work, I mean for kids. Even teacher don`t send them to pee there to the latrine. They do it everywhere. So one of the thing is to teach them also about this - HYGIENE.

To talk a little bit about teachers in preschools, some of them are very active and try their best. But majority is just repeating the same topic all the time. Usually it is alphabet, numbers, self introduction, weather, shapes...Therefore we do have teacher training in our school for all teachers who wanna come and learn something new. After entire training (3 months) they get certificate. We teach them a new method of teaching, doing things and what there  is the most important. I do it together with students because of communication barrier - I don`t speak Chechewa.

This is good one. Preschool from hay (fence and even roof). Smell inside is amazing. They moved to this kind of  barn because the owner of church where was preschool before, didn`t let them be there anymore. But tat`s good , now they have at least reason to build new preschool from bricks.
